Update.

I should have chapter 7 done in about a week.
I'll also have more time to write for the next month. For the next 4 weeks, I'll have 3 days off, and that means another whole day to work on writing. So I hope to have another chapter out before my month of 3 day weekends is over.

Cool beans, just don't stress yourself out for our benefit Fel. We don't mind waiting if it means keeping your health up, both physical and mental.

Have you turned some of your crazy long hours over the last months into time off? Instead of over time pay?
I probably shouldn't ask, but are there any games coming up which will be consuming your time?

No, someone else at work wanted more hours for the next month, so they're taking one of my days. That gives me an extra day off.
And no, no games. The next pokemon game doesn't come out til winter.

Sorry things are slow, but I got covid.
The good part is I'm out of work sick. The bad part is I've felt too icky to do much more than lurk on twitter. I've got a few pages done, though, when I feel well enough to concentrate to write.

Been busy trying to do repairs to the house.
I'm about 80% done with the chapter, but haven't had time to finish it lately with winter coming. These things need fixing before it gets cold.
I MIGHT have the chapter done this weekend. I was trying for the middle of the week, but my skills as a carpenter were vastly overestimated.

I should have the chapter done on Friday.
I've had a couple of setbacks, mainly because I'm an even worse carpenter than I first thought. I had to all but completely tear down and rebuild the part of the porch I tried to repair after I realized that I'd built part of it with the wrong dimensions.
That only cost me about $100 in wasted lumber.

But now you have a bunch of left over lumber for your carpentry side projects
