I should have chapter 7 done in about a week.

I'll also have more time to write for the next month. For the next 4 weeks, I'll have 3 days off, and that means another whole day to work on writing. So I hope to have another chapter out before my month of 3 day weekends is over.

Have you turned some of your crazy long hours over the last months into time off? Instead of over time pay?

No, someone else at work wanted more hours for the next month, so they're taking one of my days. That gives me an extra day off.

And no, no games. The next pokemon game doesn't come out til winter.

Been slow going because I worked 72 hours for the last 2 weeks.

The good part is I'm out of work sick. The bad part is I've felt too icky to do much more than lurk on twitter. I've got a few pages done, though, when I feel well enough to concentrate to write.

Hey Fel - how about an update, are you doing well? Enjoying the last of summer? Are you well? How is chapter 10 coming along?

Been busy trying to do repairs to the house.

I'm about 80% done with the chapter, but haven't had time to finish it lately with winter coming. These things need fixing before it gets cold.

I MIGHT have the chapter done this weekend. I was trying for the middle of the week, but my skills as a carpenter were vastly overestimated.

I've had a couple of setbacks, mainly because I'm an even worse carpenter than I first thought. I had to all but completely tear down and rebuild the part of the porch I tried to repair after I realized that I'd built part of it with the wrong dimensions.

That only cost me about $100 in wasted lumber.
