Zap!

Post by Sbudda »

I don't know if any of ya'll read the web comic Zap in Space or not. But it occurs to me that the character Naveed Catlos looks remarkably like what I would picture a Werecat to look like.

The pic for Naveed was done quite early in the series, back when the art wasn't nearly as good as it is now. The last 5 comics or so (as of Nov 17th) has some much nicer illustrations. What do ya'll think?

The shoes. I always forget that they don't wear shoes, or have human hands. You'd think the 400 references to this in the books would have reminded me.

Maybe this would be more like it. Except for the whole fur everywhere else...

I read Zap, and while Naveed doesn't look like a Were-cat, she certainly has the mentality. She would fit right in among them. ;)

For those of you who haven't read it, Naveed is a villain. And boy, IS she a villain. She also has a smart mouth and rather twisted sense of humor. When she's winning, she's an insufferable ass. She's never really been on the losing side before, but from the looks of the current arc, she's about to get her ass kicked by Reona, so we'll see how she acts when she's losing. ;)
Just another guy from the shallow end of the gene pool.

Well, if she's anything like a werecat, there's gonna be about a half-second of stunned disbelief, followed by a few minutes of plotting, and then revenge.

Plotting, what is this plotting? There is only pain.

Hmm... I thought pain is a precursor to death. The plot is death and maiming is just failure to give in to the RAGE.
The sea flows as long as Earth exist, Love is alive as long as people exist. I will read Fel's stories as long as my heart still beats.
