Okay, so, whoever watches it, admit it. You saw that coming, but you didn't see it coming quite like that.
Oh, and now they're ALL infected. Outstanding plot twist. $$

Didn't you hear, they revoked his pension. He's been working as a butler for 10 years.

...ok, so, watched it. And I called that last week with the two dead cops - no bites.
They've handled or cut zombied flesh, so any cutting or breaking of the skin by anything that handn't been sterilised == infection.
I also would've thought T-Dog, with that huge gash on the broken window would've been a gonner.

Re: The Walking Dead--MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
It puts an entirely new twist on the name of the series to boot.
Now the "walking dead" refers more to the living than anything else. They're alive, but infected. Imagine knowing that if you die and someone doesn't shoot you in the head, you come back as a zombie.
Mind trip......
But, now what I'm much more curious about is this: can they die of zombie bites now, since they're all already infected?

Re: The Walking Dead--MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
Well, you don't know that they're all infected - so far both of them have plausable excuses as to how they got infected. The kid through the cuffs breaking the skin and through the massive leg injury. Shane through cutting is palm and spreading blood on the bus door-jamb *twice* (the second, after having a zombie lick the spot).
It's the long dormancy that is of most concern.
It's possible that it's acting like other known viruses where it goes into dormancy until triggered, causing it to activate. Or the body has been exposed to it through small droplets in the eyes/mouth/nose and so has been able to trigger an immune response, which will keep minor infections at bay.
If they had anyone there with half a clue, they'd have been okay I think.
Nobody has been cleaning minor cuts/abrasions, or paying much attention to hygene.
Edit:
Also, they've never explained how the original virus spread. It seems to be only through body-fluid contact, which is an exceedingly hard way for something to take over an entire population. If it could be aerosolised - like influenza - then that'd be more viable, but we havn't seen anyone infected start coughing up fluids.
