Officaly it's called "The Jason Wander Series" and it's now up to 5 books
i thought it was a very good book ....
Book 2 in that series is "Orphan's Destiny"
Book 3 is "Orphan’s Journey"
I've also read books 2 and 3 they were great as well
I've not yet read the rest yet
Book 4 is "Orphan’s Alliance"
Book 5 is "Orphan’s Triumph’s"
And in the fury of this darkest hour
I will be your light
A lifetime for this destiny
For I am Winter born
And in this moment..I will not run
It is my place to stand
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands
(bloodied hands)
And in our Dying, we're more alive-than we have ever been
I've lived for these few seconds
For I am Winter born
The CruxShadows "Winterborn" (This Sacrifice)
Wizards of the Coast decided to publish first part of Erevis Cale trilogy in pdf format. What makes this book( and its followers) different from "normal" Forgotten Realms novel is its darker tone. There are no goody-two-shoes in this book, heroes included You can read the prologue and d/l the book here: http://www.wizards.com/DnD/Article.aspx ... d/20090309
for those of you who like to read stories on fanfiction.net, finctionpress.com, and a few others, but wish you could take them to read on the train, i recommend the fanfiction downloaded ; http://www.home-eisele.de/downloader_e.php - simply point it to a book with a few chapters, and it'll grab them all into a folder for you.
edit: note above, that previously linked isn't finished yet, so don't start reading unless you want to be left hanging ....
I searched the forums and did not see this web site mentioned: Free online Novels http://www.free-online-novels.com/index.html. The site is a collection of links to online novels. It has a Fantasy and Science Fiction category but it is sadly lacking links to Fel's works. I have not had a chance to try out any of the books yet.

Simply the best tool ever! I often try and download from fanfiction.net but never have any patience to do so. Hard to read on the bus otherwise, but this gives me basically everythign that I want. thanks for posting this!
I'd gladly travel back in time, except I would have to wait longer for the next chapter of Fel's work...sorry, pass.
