Dying Threads

Post by Halcyon »

Has anyone intentionally created a thread with the express purpose of it getting sent to the trash can?

Yes, in fact I created one in the trash can...
Tin Foil... Still putting down money that its the key for the defeat of the baddies...

Fel, Is it done yet? Probably not, but I don't have anything better to do! Is it done yet? Probably not, but I don't have anything better to do! Ahhh, its done... dang, now what am I going to read???
New books! Yay! let the nagging begin! Is it done yet? Probably not, but I don't have anything better to do! Is it done yet? Probably not, but I don't have anything better to do!...

True, I really have nothing better to do in my free time, I mean, what could be better than reading Fel's stories or being messed with by Spec? Thanks for the fun spec!

And michael, that's why they call you suave...

By the way, does anyone have any idea what the longest thread in this forum is?

You need to create a poll, add large font and colours.

That'll definitely get you into "Trash Can" territory. :)

I was testing out some of the polling functions, and even labled it testing 1 2 3, it was built to be trashed after the test worked... and that is not why they call me suave

<a href="http://sennadar.plebian.net/forum/viewt ... t=7">Links to Good Reading.</a>

16 pages, 233+ posts, 41,000 + views.

Given it was one of the first few threads created [s](#6, I think)[/s] - it's not exactly unexpected.

Probably time for me to close it and start Part 2.

Edit: Nope, not #6. Due to the migration from YaBB to PHPbb last year/year before, thread IDs were... a little screwy - but it was early on.

Edit #2:

Just for kicks:

You know SPEC, if we keep going, I think the Fun with Faey Tech may soon claim the title of longest thread. :D
