Re: After a long vacation, Tarrin is back.
Thats true, but would a god of what symbolizes all things good actually do that? Thats about on par with saying a cat could have puppies. As to the elder gods, they see the firestaff as a necessary evil in their world. TO them, anything made by the firestaff is evil and must be driven out or destr...

Re: After a long vacation, Tarrin is back.
When you are faced with the fact that you are the biggest danger to those you love, you leave. They might try to stop you, they will probably even come after you. All you can do is say that it has to be and walk away. They will be depressed, they will cry, they will curse the gods. But they cann...

I have a thing or two to say about death threats and impaitence. But that involves physical violence. Not a good thing when the guy is the size of a NFL lineman.

Normally I would agree with the subterfuge, but being as I know to many in the brass department, they wouldn't view it to kindly. Being in AFROTC doesn't help much either......

Re: Taping magazines together (Subjugation)
Of course, jason could pull a tomb raider stunt and have loaded clips tied to an autoloader of sorts. I'm talking about one in the movies that comes out of the backpack.
But then that would be how I did it. Anyway, Fel pretty much already knows what he is going to do.

Fel as a reincarnated author...... hmm...... Nope, sorry, can't be. He may just show similar tendencies. There, now maybe my mind won't run away screaming....

Re: Darn, wouldn't you know, ANOTHER non-sword chapter
There is a difference between cloaking and masking. What Jason did in the story was to mask matter signatures that shouldn't be there. Cloaking is actively trying to hide in plain sight. I.e. the camo netting, paint and bridge used to hide the skimmer.

Rule #1: NEVER give the author/gm any ideas as these tend to end up bad for those involved.
Rule #2: ALWAYS, ALWAYS, follow Rule #1.

If what Triana said was true about the All doing to explorers, then they are going to lose quite a few.

Re: News (NOT a chapter post)
My only complaint is that everyone is gripeing about not having a chapter. My response to this would have been to stop writting. But thats me, not Fel. Who knows, Fel might even do it.

You know, given how long ago he said that, I wouldn't be surprised if he proceeded to lose the maps again. Or in the worst case, redraw them.

WARNING: This is for those with Win XP
Being as I am a college student and the school's IT desk is fairly up on current computer threats, I have a warning to convey. It has been spread around that the source code for Windows XP has been compromised. It is highly suggested that the windows updater be run to insure that your computer won'...
