It's over, it's all over...

Yup, christmas day today, and tomorrow we get right back in the van and drive home.  We'll be leaving so early I'll think it was yesterday, but that's so we can get home around 8-9pm.

I just hope we have better driving weather.  It rained ALL THE WAY UP HERE.  Literally.

I'll post to the board when I get home tomorrow to let everyone know I'm back.

Hope everyone had a good christmas.  I got a nice new light jacket that'll stand up to a WV winter (I hate heavy coats) and a beard trimmer of which I was in desperate need.

But better than that was the chance to spend Christmas with my family.  Of everything out there, all those things and gadgets and trinkets and objects, that was the best gift of them all.

Sometimes, it's the simplest things in life which are the best.

So, from the Galloway and Myron families (mine and my sister's husband's), Merry Christmas.  May yours be filled with wonder and joy.

And cookies!

Rum-Balls made with Kahalua (Coffee Liquer) and Chocolate Nilla wafers = Mocha Balls - Thats even better than Rum-Balls'.

Happy hollidaze everyone.  I hope everyone makes it back to their humble abodes safely.  And Fel, enough break time.  Back to writing!!!! Chop Chop!!!

Well, I'm home, and it certainly wasn't for the powers of be trying to stop us.

Just after we got into Pennsylvania, the car's transmission lost its highest gear and overdrive.  Needless to say, it was a very nervewracking trip back, because we literally drove over 700 miles at 50-55 miles an hour.  A trip that should have taken 14 hours (that was our time up until that) ended up taking 19.

So, later this week, we're buying a new van...this was basicly the last straw.  The van is FIRED.

So, I'm home I'm safe, and I'm tired, but what matters is I survived Christmas 2004.

So now you're looking for an Apprentice Van?

BTW when you fired the van, did you wear a really bad hairpiece?   I think that is now obligatory for all firings!
