I did that once too...I'd rather not discuss that incident.

P.S.I actually took a wrong final once cause I was too sleepy to notice. :/

You could say something like this:

(a)お疲れ様でした！(b)試験が終わりました！(c)おめでとう御座います！
(a) A recognition of working hard (usually used after work or other strenuous activity)
(b) The exams have finished
(c) Congratulations!
