Hmm, anyone else noticed Ahiriya's peculiar interest in Tara and Rina in Axe chapter 12? I wonder what plans she has for them? The fact that she ignored everyone else seems significant to me.

And now to address your question. Ahiriya, in the form of the Phoenix, may have been wishing the children were hers. A few of the goddesses seem to be somewhat attracted to Tarrin. However, she may have been showing Tarrin she was pleased with his kids.

Ahiriya's interest in Tara and Rina basicly stems from the fact that Tarrin couldn't sense their talent for Sorcery.

Just like Tarrin's other children, Tara and Rina are rather unique, but their unique nature is tied up in the fact that they're twins...the ONLY Were-cat twins.

IIRC the talent for Sorcery is best assessed just after the birth; I seem to remember than later it "goes into hiding".

Very interesting Fel if I recall you said there are currently 3 Mi'Shara on sennadar does that count Tarin or not? Spider ……… and ………… maybe the twins really do have “talent” are they the other 2 Mi’Shara Fel??

You know I've been thinking about it... Fel never said that the 3 born on Sennadar were still alive.. just that 3 were born on Sennadar, and currently there are 6 alive total....

Yes, I know it's too Obvious, But could have the 3rd one born on Sennadar been Val?

You know I've been thinking about it... Fel never said that the 3 born on Sennadar were still alive.. just that 3 were born on Sennadar, and currently there are 6 alive total....

What possible purpose would Val have had to be a Mi'Shara? Not to mention, he could have caused more damage as a Mi'Shara than as the dark god.

Purpose? To Force Tarrin to be created, To make the "hard" choices that others were Unwilling to make... did not Fel refer to him at one time as the God of Entropy or some such? (I know he was refered to as Entropy, can't remeber what the other part was, if it was god or something else..)

As Fel said in the story and on the boards, Spyder doesn't know what she is, so she cannot use her "full" powers, maybe Val didn't either...

Val could have been an Mi'shara before he became a God. The one thing that Fel has said and shown is that to be a Mi'shara a person has to be mortal, or atleast in a mortal body. Which is why at the correct time before Tarrin fights with Spyder Dolanna has to have her faith in Tarrin shaken so that he can go back to being mortal and there for an Mi'shara.

I wonder whether same Mi’Shara are more powerful than others
spider may or may not be as strong as Tarrin as to the fact that his task
may be bigger which may lead to the need for him to be stronger and exceed larger limits of power because his task is larger than being Guardian of the gate.....

…in same weird way I think Tarrin is the balance good and evil
