This is a work in progress!!
Chapter 1: Normal recap of characters that occurs at the beginning of each book. Tarrin begins to notice a feeling of welcome emanating from somewhere on this new world. The group approaches a village, following Kimmie's trail, and meets the local priest who tells them that Kimmie and Phandebrass are Defiled and asks if Tarrin is hunting them. We learn that The One is the major God on this world and that He leads a priesthood that can summon demons. Tarrin kills the priest's guards and Mist kills the demon that the priest summoned. Tarrin lifts the local languages off of the priest. Fireflash arrives.
