Possible boon (spoilers)

I just had an epic idea. Remember the story that Fel started, Draconian Measures. In it the dragon suprised everyone by traveling to his public appearenCe by traveling underground. It has been suggested that a full set of 17 tethers will grant the earth dragons the ability to manipulate earth, rock and stone. What if part of this was the ability to travel through earth, mainly soil and sand, like they were swimming? They would literally never be seen coming.
