Jason is, as we have seen through the Subjugation series a rather talented engineer. He might not be his cousin but he's pretty damn close, and only his focus on his duties as Grand Duke has probably dragged him away from playing even more with 3D. However, a recent thought popped into my head. Jason left his university in Subjugation...in the fifteen years since he left, does he have any official qualifications? Tom, I think, is mentioned to have gotten his degree in Engineering, and Myleena probably has degree's, PHDs or equivalent coming out of her hair...but does Jason?

He's obviously skilled enough that he's qualified to work on the most advanced projects such as the Super Trans-light drive (after all he solved the problem Myleena was having)...but has he had time, even by correspondents, to finish a degree?

Good question. The answer is, no. He has no degrees. Everything he knows, he either learned himself, absorbed from Cybi, or learned from Myleena. He's never had the time, or even the inclination, to get an official degree. After all, he doesn't NEED one.

But, that's just a piece of paper. You're right in that Jason probably knows more about engineering and the physics behind it than many professors.

And while it may be a bit hypocritical on his part, he'll more or less physically force all his children at gunpoint to get Academy degrees. While he may not have his own degree, he's a BIG believer in education.

Most of the original Legion in 3D do have their degrees now, but that's mainly because, like Luke, they needed to study to keep up with the changing nature of what 3D does. As what they did got more and more cutting edge, even the warriors in 3D needed to study advanced subjects to keep up with the dedicated scientists like Myleena, Eraen, and Emia.

Are there not those degree that university grants people? Even if not an official one, it would be something.
