The Karrines are planning on making a stargate transmitter for themselves to allow them some options. I wonder could they make a gate that only acts as a reciever, so if any original gate or transmitter open attempted to make a link, it would help them, but by it self it can not establish a wormhole. That type of gate could be deployed at less secured regions, as they risk lesser tech.
