Hi, i am currently rereading the firestaff books ,
and read the first encounter with sheba,

i was wondering about the sections where sheba was suddenly so confident after she was captured,
and how the wikuni ship in dayisé knew that sheba was on board of the dancer ?

any one know for sure ? was this explained later in the books, or in forum ( didnt find anything in forum).


guess she might have sent a message over priest before she attacked that she was going after the dancer for keri,
but she could not be sure they would stop in dayise,
and certainly would not think she needed to sent message before the battle ( she would think she was going to win, and capture keri, so would be more logical to sent a message after the battle ? )

I've always thought it was because of her family connections. Only the Wikuni had a navy that could do something about her, and since her family was powerful, they didn't bother. And since she had a powerful family, no one wanted to draw the wrath of the Wikuni (who are a military and economic power) by toucher a hair on her head.

But we all know what The Cat thought of the mighty Wikuni.

how did the wikuni (familie ship) know that sheba would be on the dancer
did sheba know that a familie ship would be waiting for her in dayise ( or did she know something else to lift her spirits),
and how did she know
