I remember a short story begun, where a guy who had been in an accident, I think, and in hospital he had been approached about getting his mind cybernticly enhanced. Does any one remember where the link is?

the story i am asking for was started here, a humans had been injured and he was asked to be a test subject. It was part of the subujation series.
