This was emailed to me by someone having issues posting it himself. It's set in the Spirit Walker series.

I'm posting it exactly as it was sent, including it being a .txt file. He had his reasons for sending it thus. ;)

Enjoy.

Walker of the Path will be done after Inception. I've been ready to write it for a while, but I have to work myself up to dark stories, and this one will be the darkest of the three by half an ocean. This might be spoilerish, but you can imagine just what Kyven's going to do in order to turn himself into a villain....

But, if I can't write Inception faster, I might work on both at the same time. Had writer's block the last couple of days. This is what happens when you have too much free time on your hands.

I have read in several places a quote from both Pohl Anderson and Robert Heinlein that to keep the pages flowing and their writing discipline intact, (both are famous for requiring of themselves 10 pages a day without fail! ), they would fill up the pages with the typing practice phrase "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog."
Just to keep the words comming. I understand that muses are fickle beasts and bestow their gifts grudgingly some times.

Can't wait for either story so ply the wench with Grapes and Wine or beer and bratts,or maybe it's some fine Irish Ale and a Smack of the Blarny Stone!
Whichever she is most fond and get those keys a clickin'!! :)

Thank again for all you do!

Folks need to be approved by an Admin as a Contributing Author.

Normally this would be from someone with at least some posting history here.

I'll have to add checking the pending members to my list of things I regularly do, but you're right, it's not like I would have approved someone would any posts anyway ;)

The author presented us with his contribution, and has thus stirred the pot. Rumblings are being heard, the pot is beginning to boil and soon (Please, please) the stew will be ready to present to the masses. Yah!
Go Fel!

I did figure out what my problem was with using the board software, as soon as I made a single public post the private message feature unlocked. PM being locked was why I used e-mail to contact FEL with my story. Maybe there is a way to set the forum software so that a new user can PM an admin but not others?

And yes, I can completely understand reluctance to approve someone with no posting history.

I don't know that it's possible... been a while since I looked.

trodrian,

Thanks for enjoying my little story of revenge.

By the assistance of another reader I should have an edited version up sometime soon. It's scary how many things I missed, even using text to speech.

Good story, excellent excellent writing. Kept me reading.
One question. What happened to the old girl friend Onilia?

She walks off with Father and is gone.

Does this mean you are writing a second part?
