At the present time he is unable to concentrate on writing, but he is recuperating and should be back in the saddle (so to speak) relatively soon.
I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say I hope he gets better quickly. It's rare to find great writers so we all want this one back writing as soon as he can...

I'm a bit under the weather with arthritis in my hands, and an infection in my throat/lungs, so I'm typing with one hand and trying not to cough.
