Once again, it's time to bump the thread. As far as I've been able to discover, Fel doesn't have any plans for new chapters for this story. At least, not yet.

I'd really like to see some more writing here, though. This is one of my favorite stories anywhere. Of course, of all of the authors posting on-line, Fel is one of the greats, and certainly in my top three. I can't pick between any of those top three to say one is better than another.

There are no dead-tree authors currently writing, that I'm aware of, that can come close to my top three on-line authors.

I agree. Even though the story seemed to stop at a reasonable place, I don't think that the story is done either and it is also one of my favorites.

Out of curiosity, what are the other two of your top three authors?

A gentleman by the name of Allen Fessler, who writes in the Chakat Universe created by Goldfur.

And Jay Naylor. Better Days is one of the best pieces of writing I've ever seen. Period.

Those are the active writers. There are a good many others whose activity is less, and that list is fairly long.

I have seen better writing from these web-only authors than I have seen in dead tree authors, and that's been true for quite a while.
