I'd like your opinion on a easy way to convert 100 html files to one pdf. I have a story on disk that is at 101 chapters or so, individuals files by chapter, and I want to create one pdf file with the story. But I don't know how.

Thanks

First you would need a program that can create PDF files. There are some "free" programs, like Foxit Reader, that will do this but they typically put advertisements on the top of the pages ("Created with Foxit Reader").

Maybe if you have Adobe Acrobat Pro you can "merge" multiple files into one but I'm not sure that's possible. Your best bet is to copy all the text to one document and then convert that.

http://www.adolix.com has a free pdf merge program it is limited to merging only 5 pdfs at a time but you can figure the work around on that.

to make pdf documents use http://www.cutepdf.com with their cute pdf writer. There is another free one call BullPDF not much experience with that.

why not combine all of the chapters into one document, then create the pdf file? that might be the easiest way to do it... you didn't say what format the chapters are in, but if they are txt or html (or even doc), it shouldn't be too hard, then you can format the document like you want, then create the pdf file.

That's what I normally do, especially with SOL and Fel's books... I create a word document that combines all of the chapters, format it like I want to see it printed, then create the pdf file from that.
