I have a really good story for you; how good is it? I hate sports, and this made me actually tear up regarding soccer of all things.

I am looking for a story. It starts as a father with his daughters, is driving on a mountain highway in the winter. They come upon an accident that has gone into the ditch. He rescues the woman and thus starts the story. I believe that it was on StoriesOnline.com but I could be mistaken. Thank you.

It sounds familiar from SOL, however you got your post in the wrong thread. You might want to repost in the Lost and Found thread.

It's been almost 2 years since the my last suggestions so here goes a few:

The Wolfhounds series by John Van Stry (also a member of this community). IMO this is Johns best works to date with a plot that has the right pacing with interesting and relatable characters. https://www.amazon.com/Stand-Alone-Wolf ... 165&sr=8-2

A Practical Guide to Evil: Do Wrong, Right. This is an old favorite of mine that I have link to before, however the author is now posting his story to Royal Road and on Aug 5th you can get it on Amazon as part of their Kindle Unlimited library. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=a+practical+ ... anker_2_17

I am going on vacation soon, and am looking for some reading suggestions to throw on my Kobo ebook.

They need to be in epub format.

I am a big fan of all of Fel's work, as well as the series "Wolves and Dragons of the Blood" by Mike Cropo (RIP). High fantasy, space opera, and hard sci-fi.

I don't mind paying.

Any suggestions?

Summer's End (by me - John Van Stry) it's through Baen books, so the ebooks should be selling everywhere.
Sometimes in the Fall is the sequel.

My Wolfhound series mentioned above probably would work for you, but it's only for sale on Amazon.

Luckily, Summer's End is on the Kobo bookstore, which makes it real easy for me (and cheaper than from Baen because of US-< CAD conversion) in that I don't have to side-load it with Calibre.

The first Wolfhounds book (Stand Alone) is on sale until the 4th or the 5th (I forget) for $1.99 if you want to check it out.
