Wow.. really had to think back there for a second. A friend of mine came up with it a few years ago when there was a very quiet period at work and I was bored out of my mind (this is already after you have re-organised the archive twice, can see your face in your desk from the polishing and everybody else has taken days off).
Hehe... I think I spend nearly a month after that reading in every single bit of spare time I had. It's very addictive.

There is a thin line between genius and insanity.
Which side of that line are you on?

heard from a friend of mine at university (borsic in here).
first found the idea of a were-cat ridiculous, read up to the point where tarrin was bitten, nearly stopped, but kept reading and then all was lost...

IT was posted as a message to the Chad Johnson Yahoo Group. (Chad Johnson being a story about some kid who retired from the CIA at age 16 or something) The guy stopped writing for about 6 months and all of the other readers posted good stories they knew about.

Spent the next week completely ignoring my wife...

The sea flows as long as Earth exist, Love is alive as long as people exist. I will read Fel's stories as long as my heart still beats.

Hello

I was out eating at a local resturant, I had a fantasy novel with me, something of Robert Jordans I think. At any rate my waitress was a cute young lady who was one of the originals around here, and who has vanished from the boards, if the old timers remember AMBER. As I was paying for my meal she grabbed my arm and told me to wait a moment and started writing on the back of a napkin and provided the http://www.sennadar.com address, and told me if I loved epic fantasy then I HAD to check this out.

The rest is history, 8 novels, many re-reads, at least 3 boards, some friends, some classic conversations, lot's of great memories.
