Congrats Mommy Doom! See what happens when someone "takes seriously what was poked at them in fun"! Actually I'm enjoying my first grand-daughter. It is so much fun to feed her sweets, get her all excited and tired, then send her home! ;D
Actually we try to poop her out so that Mommy and Daddy have a sleepy content little girl when they pick her up.
You should be happy that Fel is taking a break. The next book appears to be the last for Tarrin. Besides, isn't it fun learning about where Fel is going to school and the environs around? Subujation is very different than the epic of Tarrin. It's refreshing for Fel and for us. Mommy Doom, get some dark, smoothe chocolate, have hubby draw you a nice hot bubble bath with candles. Let him chase the toddler for awhile.

FEL deserves his days off.

everybody must have had the same idea, at the same time because FEL announced he was taking a few days off and then it was like beer O'clock.  everyone scattered.lol ;D

I completely agree that Fel deserves any time off he can scrounge.   Gads, don't we all?  Did I even tell you guys that I"m working 4 days a week from home these days? Ever try to sit on the couch and WORK with a toddler screaming from one room to the next, most of the time demanding your attention in no uncertain terms? Oh my God. Today I went upstairs to put in a load of laundry and by the time I got back the kid had sabotaged my laptop by removing 4 keys and resetting all of my passwords. HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT? And have you ever tried to put laptop keys back on?  What a horrible job! I'm just lucky I could FIND them all and the little pieces under them.

Thanks for the congrats everyone on the impending arrival of Thing 2.  Won't be till September, so we've got a lot of time.  yeah, riiiiiiight.
