Ahh fel, you know we are just teasing you. RL always comes first. No worries, just wanted you to know that we haven't forgotten you and your work.

It's from an Australian TV program called A Current Affair... it's pure chequebook/sensationalist journalism at it's finest. They have no qualms about misquoting, quoting out of context, or just plain misleading viewers about their stories.

As for the kid - he's finished Year 10, after which you're not longer required by law to attend school. See here: http://www.schools.nsw.edu.au/leavingschool/year10.php

Years 11 and 12 are optional, but typically required for entry into university or other higher education.

As for the topic:

I wish the people from ACA and Today Tonight were all sacked, and the shows closed down.

Didn't know that they started school at the age of 5. In all european countries I know about the starting age is 6 years.
But you're right, such journalism, hell, you can't even call it that without insulting every serious journalist. They're just making up stories for the population with sponges between their ears instead of brains. People that are happy when they don't have to think because it hurts their heads.

Unfortunately, humanity has proven to have far too many of those.

You just talking the tabloids / tabloid shows or real journalism? I'm having trouble with the distinction these days.

Er, by the way, hi folks! Just wanted to get a post in & make sure I got the profile settings right. (Tho, how do you change the line below the avatar... I'll work on that.)

Heaping much thanks to Fel for his great work. Lost a lot of sleep for a week-and-change catching up with the two main series -- I just couldn't leave them alone, they were so good! Anyways, sorry to hear about the RL probs. Hope that resolves to your satisfaction.

And I'm not saying that just because I want you to crank out more good stuff! Really! No, wait, that sounds fake. Er...
