Double Entendre in Tower of sorcery?

Post by afrigeek »

Was just re-reading the firestaff series for the nth time when I yet again came across something that struck me the first time I read the book. maybe its me with a dirty mind but :
But Tarrin was strikingly handsome now that he was grown, and the mothers had a hard time convincing their daughters that the blond child of the wild Elke Kael wasn't worth their time. He'd grown up out among the ancient oaks and maples, birch and blueleaf trees, and when his sister Jenna was old enough, he started taking her. But she didn't like it too well;
This can easily be read as Tarrin started sleeping with when she was old enough especially since the previous sentence talks about mothers keeping their daughters away from him :-)
"Bachelors should be heavily taxed. It is not fair that some men should be happier than others." - Oscar Wilde

What actually happened was that George Dubya Bush saw an Iraqi maths teacher carrying a geometry set, accused him of being a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement, and charged him with possessing weapons of maths instruction.

Maybe what we should discuss is the pornographic aspects of Fel's stories. I don't necessarily think of him as an erotica writer. But his stories do have sex in them it just isn't central to the plot.

This doesn't keep me from envisioning these scenes. In fact since they are not extremely descriptive I think it's better as it's left to the imagination.

But Afrigeek it is a funny faux pas with a kinky (incest) double entendre. Here's to editors and proof readers!

Poor Fel, he'll probably be horrified when he reads this.

Not all of them is furry. Even the Wikuni have the fun bits un-furred. 8)

On a side note: MD, how the heck do I change that 'Quote:' into 'Whoever wrote:'?
