While not mentioned specificly in the story, somewhere in the forum that the crew of that scout ship settled on earth. They had a settlement somewhere in Scotland, and began to breed with the local population. Unfortunately they were mostly wiped out by plague. We know that the sole generation on the ship stated the bloodline for Jason and rahne, but how many else survived to create the majority of the human telepathic population.
Technically it mean all telepaths are Scottish, so it would be cool if the house had their own tartan. I could see Karis set up there own Highland games, one with a competition of physical feels for the human descendants, and another with challenges for the telekinetilyly capable individuals.
