About Makatis in the Empire

I was reading again Subjugation and something grabbed my attention:

''The Karinnes, the Odarres, the Shuvennes, the Poyalles, the Sendarres, the Makati
house of Ovi, the Brannes, and the Wurennes were all destroyed in that war''

Fel posts some background to his stories on the forums from time to time, and I remember he posted many things about the Subjugation universe. I just cant find any info about the fey civil war. I would love to see more background info about the Empire, especially about the civil war.

But the especific thing that got me curious is about the Makati house of Ovi. How and why were they destroyed? They supported the losing side, just happened to live in one of the planets that was bombarded like Karris, something else? I guess it ties into how Makati houses are created and interact in the Empire, and how involved they are into politics.
