Fel or anyone,

Did Tarrin ever figure out how Trianna did him true damage while in their first fight in Den Gauche? He was hurting for a while when they fought and had to heal slowly after that.

Just wondering as I was re-reading the series.

I think it was just assumed that she used Druidic magic... but you know what assuming does...

I believe it was druidic magic also. We know that normally werecats can take chunks out of each other. True damage is from natural weapons, druidic magic is a natural weapon usually (unless the druid is twisting it to do unnatural things, such as attack demons).

Actually, Fel will have to explain this pretty well, As werecats fight all the time, using the first book, when Tarrin fought the Wrath, because they were BOTH magical creatures they could Hurt eachother, so shouldn't the same apply to Werecats fighting?

Sees this as a possible plot error

Correct, BUT Werecats are magical creatures, so they should do True Harm to each other when they fight, Hence Triana doing Damage to him, But If that is the case, why after Jasmind(sp?) and Tarin fought, did they heal so quickly, and other times when Werecats fought..

Triana did in fact use druidic magic. She can cause her claws to have the same properties as an unworked weapon of nature, which causes wounds that a Were-cat can't regenerate.
