Mostly because nothing really new gets posted in either place and if they were collapsed I could scroll down to see who's online quicker. But jumping between groups just to check something is way too much work for very little benefit. I was wondering if there was an option where if you clicked on the group heading it would collapse the group, not the other way around and display only that group.

If you hit the 'END' key on your keyboard it will jump to the bottom of the page. You can hit 'HOME' to go back to the top.

Yep, unfortunately it's another of the rather annoying decision by the folks who built PHPbb. I thought they had fixed these pretty basic issues in the new platform, but, well, I guess not. Asking why things don't exist either, gets you abused.

We're now running on the latest version of PHPbb 3 (3.0.0).

The upgrade was a little rocky, but seems to be working fine now.

Let me know if there's any issues.
