Oh yeah, by the way, I found something buried deep in my story archive flash drive that I may clean up and post later. It was going to be my cousin's Christmas pony short story the Christmas before last that I started working on months before, only to find out that she was outgrowing pony and wasn't all that interested.

I named it "Child of Sun and Moon," about a cursed pony that's a unicorn by day, bat pony by night, who comes into possession of an ancient bat pony artifact that gets him into big, big trouble. I got maybe about one third into the story before I found out the one girl audience for whom it was being written wasn't really interested, so I dropped it.

Well, I copied over from my flash drive and may try to make it at least postable. It's unedited and pretty much a mess, as well as being incomplete. It's also written in a much more mature frame of reference, since my cousin was growing up and was ready for much more "dramatic" stories that touched on more mature subjects, like romance, conflict, more complex plotlines, and even bloodshed. But hey, I wrote it, may as well do something with it.

I had a similar reaction. It seems almost like you keep piling on the questions and keep withholding the answers. So when i start chanting "Is it done yet? Probably not, but I don't have anything better to do! too often, well you're to blame. And i'm sticking to that story. But i really loved the chapter.
