Conviction, chapter 4, plus edits.

Post by Fel »

The largest changes in the edits are in chaper 13 of Inception and chapter3 of Conviction. The changes in chapters 1 and 2 of Conviction are basically just adding a line or changing a few words.

The edits will be posted here, and I'll change the links in the proper threads later, when I have time.

Enjoy.

(P.S.: I used some "real" theoretical physics theories, as in postulated theories that can't be proven or disproven because they're theoretical, in the edits to explain the changes made. So for you geekasaurus nerds like me, I hope you enjoy it.)

You Just made my day! Fel

I had a very crappy morning as I waited 2 hours in the cold outside for an appointment.

Same here.
I haven't slept properly during the weekend; been binge watching HOI 4 pre-release streams on twitch. Just a couple of hours sleep a day and wouldn't get any sleep tonight as HOI 4 launches tonight and would be playing that.

Thanks Guy. It got unseasonably warm here today - 88 degrees F this afternoon (Registered in the shade on my patio at 4:30 PM PST - which fortunately is behind a tall hedge, but unfortunately is still only about 10 feet from an paved parking lot.) At any rate I imagine it will be 3 or 4 am before I have my bedroom cooled off enough to be able to sleep, so this gives me something to do while waiting.

Look forward to reading 4 Fel. But maybe a quick log of what changed in the others, I don't really have the time to reread them (and most likely would miss the changes anyway)

The edits don't really change the main story, they just give a plausible explanation as to why standard hyperspace engines can't cross galaxies. So you don't really lose anything by not reading the edits so long as you're ready for the "retcon" in chapter 4, since it does touch on that reason as the translight drives undergo testing.

The edits don't really change the main story, they just give a plausible explanation as to why standard hyperspace engines can't cross intergalactic space quickly. So you don't really lose anything by not reading the edits so long as you're ready for the "retcon" in chapter 4, since it does touch on that reason as the translight drives undergo testing.

Hi Fel,
A great surprise :D Winter is just starting to hit in the Land Down Under {the one with the long white cloud} :o So it is very much appreciated on these colder nights to have something good to read and forget about the rotten weather. My thanks as always.

Regards and best wishes,
RobJ.
