BOFH, how do I love you so?  Let me count the ways.

1. We both hate users.
2. We both are computer admins.
3. We both hate users.
4. I agree, bosses are for abuse.
5. Did I mention we both hate users?

LOL

Kevin & Kell; http://www.kevinandkell.com

Not sure how to describe this... Not sure i should either. Just read a month or so of it and see for yourself. It has a few (lots) of laughts and jokes. Some funny, some not, depending on yourself.

Started on the 4th of September 1995, it has been updated daily since, so there are a LOT of viewing/reading to do.

One of the jokes that got my atention early, a few years ago is here; http://www.kevinandkell.com/1996/kk0416.html , just check it for youself. The title of that strip is 'Computer language. Some folks don't understand anything else.'

The Jaded - http://thejaded.keenspace.com (another one from KeenSpace/KeenSpot).

Quite nice story about mercenaries (as far as I have read), done in color. Painting style. Full page, not those three-to-four panel strips. Which means that is updated biweekly. Each page has title... and comments.

New note: The Jaded archive is no longer hosted on Keenspace and is no longer free. Bad, bad, bad...

I found a good one yesterday, which meant I was reading it instead of doing homework. Oh, well. Thought I'd share in case anyone else likes it.

http://www.bonsaimechafactory.org/eidolicfringe/ Eidolic Fringe is a manga-styled webcomic about a guy named Rei who dies on page two. Okay, he's not really dead, but his body's in a coma and his mind appears to have gone to another world with pirates and big ships and mecha-like critters from the deep.  I found it a very engrossing read.

Yes we are!  However, whoever originally posted the UserFriendly link is even more E-ville cuz I'm only up to Sept 2003 there and it's taken me FORBLINKINGEVER to get that far.  I stop all the time and paste links to my husband (usually the references to Quake since hubby is a Quake addict).  He usually replies back with a *wince* and says those are hitting too close to home.  :)

Lol. I usually do the same thing to a friend. I find something that fits him pretty well, copy the adress and mail it to him. Heh, he even tried to take off my ear after a particular one a few years ago... You should have seen his face... ;D ;)

They did a crossover on those few days (a week?). Userfriendly borrowed Torg (as a "new web developer" for Columbia Internet, from memory) , and Sluggy borrowed A.J.
Pete drew Userfriendly, and Illiad drew Sluggy.

A few of those online comics that gave me some laughs.

http://emeraldwinter.com/index.php

*A serius and yet funny tale about a half-elf and a qauter elf on adventure; magic abound.
though it's still in its early stages, its still quite good.

http://gwennafran.tegnebordet.dk/stda/manga.html

*A truely funny tale about an angel and devil...nah won't reveal anymore; a must read.

http://www.well-of-souls.com/outsider/

*another comic in it's early stages though verywell drawn and the story seems intriquing so far. sci-fi

A guy at work kept talking about MegaTokyo, so I finally gave in the other day and started reading from the start. So far I'm up to strip 330 or so, and IMO it's not too bad at all. The quality of the drawings are top notch - more artwork, than cartoon/comic strip. There is also some very witty writing of the story too, with references to Penny Arcade and Player vs Player quite a bit - and possibly a few others that I don't know about and havn't recognised.

I'm not what you'd call a fan of Manga / etc (admittedly, I've never really looked into it much), but MegaTokyo is great. Check it out if you havn't already.

OMG, it's not here?  YIKES!

We forgot where my avatar comes from!  (Greymist understands)

Jack:  http://www.pholph.com

Jack is a "Furry" strip about, well, Jack.  He's the Grim Reaper, and also a demonic creature called a "Sin," one of seven that represents the seven deadly sins.  Jack is Wrath, and he became a sin because of actions he took in life.

Jack is not a kiddie comic.  That's your first and only warning.  But it is FANTASTIC.

It's a rich, surprisingly deep comic that can make you laugh, cry, or scare the hell out of you.  David Hopkin's visions of heaven and hell are quite interesting, and he's filled heaven, hell, earth, purgatory with some very, very interesting characters.

My avatar is Jack.  Chibi Jack!  It was drawn by a fan of the comic, who did "chibi" (overly cute caricatures) drawings of all the characters.  I naturally immediately snapped up her Jack, and I use it as my avatar (with her permission, of course).

Fear the cute and fuzzy grim reaper! (though he is NOT cute in the comic, by any degree)

"Noooooooo, not HIM!!!!"
Just another guy from the shallow end of the gene pool.
