Hi All,

I finally got around to doing a long overdue upgrade of the forum software. There may be slight visual changes due to the themes being updated. If you notice anything broken, please let me know (on here or @karlb_ on twitter).

Cheers,
Greymist/Karl

Only complaint is the mobile version of the main forum page doesn't show the latest post so I don't know if any subforums have an update without requesting the desktop version of the site

Can we get the view unread posts link back? That was my normal mode of seeing what's new here.

Thanks!

So it seems the Prosilver theme removed that, strange. Unless I get around to adding this to ProSilver a couple of options for you:
  1. Bookmark these links search.php?search_id=unreadposts and search.php?search_id=newposts
  2. Change your theme to AllanStyle-SUBSILVER (Top Right > Dropdown beside your name > User Control Panel > Board Preferences > My board style)

I'm going to have to go with this as a solution :)

I don't really want to play with the smart resizing, so I'm going to say the phone rotating solution is the way to go. That or just going to one of the two links I mentioned in my above post.

If it's annoying enough people I'll look into it :P

The links are still there, but were moved in the new theme. They can now be found under "Quick links" at the top left, right under the banner.
Anything more will require Greymist's fiddling with the theme files.

So they are, I didn't look hard enough.

The upgrade disabled my RSS feed. Is there a way to get it back???

Thanks.

It looks like the previous version of phpBB was using an RSS mod which is no longer supported. The included phpBB feed is an Atom feed found here: feed.php. This should be supported by most feed readers.

I've also put a message on the old rss.php page letting people know the feed has moved.

If your feed reader doesn't support Atom, let me know and I'll have a look for/write an RSS feed.

Thanks Greymist. Worked great (using Firefox Live Bookmarks). I bookmarked years and years ago, so it was likely the old version.
