the 2x books in the Duchy of Terra trilogy (book 3 should be out later this year) are pretty darn good. Glynn Stewart has already stated that there will be a second Duchy of Terra Trilogy.

After looking that up and finding it a shared universe, the only thing I can think of similar is the MORF's Universe of stories:
Massive Ontogenetic Regulation Failure Syndrome' or MORFS for short, was originally launched on the world's population by means of a genetically engineered virus. It had been started as an attempt at a biological weapon by a group of terrorists back in the early 2000s. The virus spread unnoticed across the globe. All life forms that experience some form of puberty where affected. This virus altered the strand of DNA that is supposed to protect and regulate the integrity of an individual's genome. The mutated portion essentially disables all or part of that activity, thus allowing many other mutations and gene swaps to appear and survive. This altered DNA was passed down to all subsequent generations and now each child is faced with the chance of undergoing life changing mutations in their teenage years.

The site hasn't been updated in over a year but most of the stories are complete.

It did sound like it might make an interesting story, but as far as I can see, there are dozens of stories there and your quoted blurb is a general baseline on which all follow up stories are to be based on. I randomly selected a story to check it out, which ended up being "Synergy" for me. Right at the start it tells me that the story is not complete but if I wanted to read it in full I may find and order/buy/whatever the story as a PDF and/or hardcover. Where I might do that wasn't exactly mentioned there. Just that its 40$ for the hardcover and 10$ for the eBook. Just looking at the eBook pricing is already shocking since even the biggest, professionally published book on amazon goes for perhaps half that. And I mean professionally in terms of bestselling author published by an established company which went through extensive editing, formatting, cover design and whatnot.

I'd rather have either a full story or one thats still updated regularly on a blog, publishing site like storiesonline.com or perhaps one like amazon... or even amazon itself, seeing as that seems to be the place to go for self publishing nowadays.

So, I wouldn't recommend that page there, might lead to frustrated "where's the rest?!"-moods.

The reason I quoted the blurb for the universe is because the person I was responding to asked for something similar to the universe he named, he didn't pick a story but named a shared universe:
Metamor Keep
Metamor Keep (MK) is a fantasy story universe dealing with complex plots, characters, and social issues that allow writers to explore the depths of their creations beyond the mere surface flash that makes a Hero a Hero and a Villain truly vile. With over 450 stories by a plethora of authors from all ranks, MK has attracted a dedicated following over the years.

Twisted by an unbreakable curse, the inhabitants of Metamor comprise a very strange and eclectic amalgam of half-animal people, women who were once men and vice-versa, and children who are anything but. Through these complications they still must continue their lives, learning how to cope with the changes that affected their bodies but (in most cases) did not touch their minds. Unsurprisingly, they are left confused about who they are, who they were, and who they want to be.
http://mkworld.wikidot.com/what-is-mk

Now if you do not want to read all the other works on the MORF's site that is on you, but realize you did pick the one author and one of the stories it does say on the main page was made into a book that the author was trying to cafe publish. However here is the direct link to the first story in the MORF's universe by the founding author:
"It's 2043, and besides all the normal stresses, teens are now faced with the possibility of many strange changes induced by the MORFS virus. Follow Jason Miller as he goes through his MORFS, tries to adapt, and learns about some strange new powers. This is the first story in the MORFS Universe." Categories: M2H, HYB, EL
http://morfs.nowhere2go.org/authors/britney.html
M2H stands for Male to Hermaphrodite, HYB stands for Hybrid animal and human, EL stands for Electrical based powers.

Also a lot of the older stories are on SOL under the MORF's universe tag, however not all are (The ones by the founding author Britany McMaster were pulled because she started her own site) and some of the stories that are incomplete on SOL are complete on the MORF's site (or were as in the Synergy series before the author pulled them):

Haven't seen this series posted before iirc:

Wine of the Gods by Pam Uphoff, first book "Outcasts and Gods"
Wolfgang was a nice kid--until they decided he wasn't even human.

Genetic engineering.
First they cured the genetic diseases.
Then they selected for the best natural traits.
Then they made completely artificial genes.
As the test children reached puberty, abilities that had always been lost in the random background noise were suddenly obvious. Telepathy, telekinesis.
At first their creators sought to strengthen these traits. Then they began to fear them.
They called them gods, and made them slaves.

Wolfgang Oldham was sixteen when the company laid claim to him.
He escaped, and stayed free for three years.
When he was arrested, identified and returned to the company, they trained him to be useful.
They didn't realize that they were training him to be dangerous

This series of over 31 novels, novellas and anthologies is on Amazon and is part of Kindle Unlimited so can be read for free if you have it. The price for the first ebook is listed as 99 cents, the newest in the spinoff "The Directorate" series is $2.99.

I stumbled on this one by accident but its been interesting enough to keep me reading in my free time. The title is Threadbare by Lost Demiurge. It's on royalroadl (http://royalroadl.com/fiction/15130/threadbare).

It's a litrpg about a teddy bear that is animated as a golem and the puns have had me cracking up.

If you're looking for something fun to read, I highly recommend it. The author started posting about 2 months ago and says it's almost finished up (within the next 2 weeks) so you're not going to be left hanging. It's effectively 3 books posted as one and the first two are already posted to amazon but you can read it for free on royalroadl. He also says that it is more than likely that he will continue writing in the same universe so I don't think there will be material lacking.

I'd definitely recommen giving it a try.
