Good Grief
Have I really been hanging around this place for six years? Wow. Keep 'em coming, Fel!
And Thanks too !
PS. I'm fighting through a sinus/ear/bronchitis too. I've had two round of antibiotics, three round of steroids, an x-ray (3 weeks ago), and a CAT scan (yesterday).

I haven't posted much in a long time but I'm still around. Just mostly lurking and working. I keep appreciating Fel's writing style even if it does come more sporadically than it used to. I realize that he is dealing with a busier life and it just seems to get busier and busier the older we get. Thanks for the hosting of the site Spec and I thank all of you for your many many posts and insight into the posibilities of each chapter.

I've been posting a lot less since i had my accident in nov 2008 but i still lurk around
kinda like the old days before i started posting back right after the change from the dark ages of the
Spam filled forum <G>
when we had to wait through 2 or more chapters of Tarrin to get a new chapter of Sub
humm 2005 maybe i should have tried harder to find my first account password instead of making a new one
not that i ever used it for posting

And in the fury of this darkest hour
I will be your light
A lifetime for this destiny
For I am Winter born
And in this moment..I will not run
It is my place to stand
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands
(bloodied hands)
And in our Dying, we're more alive-than we have ever been
I've lived for these few seconds
For I am Winter born
The CruxShadows "Winterborn" (This Sacrifice)
I will be your light
A lifetime for this destiny
For I am Winter born
And in this moment..I will not run
It is my place to stand

Yes, because yours are post +2 type posts, right?Fiferguy wrote:0. I HATE those kind of posts. Mine are FAR more sophisticated.Hearly wrote:heh, ya but how many of your posts Fifer, are just Hi, or post +1 type postsFiferguy wrote:You need to catch up Hearly!

Just shy of 7 years, works out to 15.6 repeating posts a month. This is probably the longest board I've been on and still routinely follow, even if I don't post much myself anymore.

Re: Good Grief
Huh. At least 7 years on this board and 1 or 2 on the old board at least. And I have no clue when Fel dubbed me MommyDoom but it was at least a year before we moved over here. And, I am far more judicious in my postings, I see. Only 307.Weresmilodon wrote:Yeah, that's kinda how i feel too. Yeesh, how long have we been around? A decade? They're killin' me at work and I don't suspect I'll be around much till Fel starts writing more Sennadar/Shadow Walker stuff. Lemme see, for those programmer geeks out there: Which is worse?
1. Trying to figure out someone else's code
2. Trying to figure out someone else's code written from a LOUSY spec
3. Trying to figure out a LOUSY programmer's code written from a LOUSY spec
I'm flowcharting #3 tonight. i'm in hell.
