Scribblehub. Similiar to RR, but the rules aren't as strict. Giving Authors more freedom with their stories.

My favorite RoyalRoad novels. What stories do y'all really like.

Azarinth Healer by Rhaegar - https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/16946/azarinth-healer
This is by far my favorite novel on RR. I joined Rhaegar's Patreon so I can read ahead and access the 20 side stories. I even got my son hooked on AH.

Beware of Chicken by Casualfarmer - https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/39408 ... of-chicken
Earth person wakes up in body of cultivator who has just been beaten to death. He says screw this cultivation cr*p and goes off to be a farmer. Is fabulous.

Anything by author Vihyungrang - https://www.royalroad.com/profile/6277/fictions
They just have 4 books, one of which is ongoing, but I really love their work.

Mother of Learning by nobody103 - https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21220 ... f-learning
This is a completed story. A fantasy world time-loop.

The Primal Hunter by Zogarth - https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/36049 ... mal-hunter
A great LitRPG story.

Eight by 3seed - https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/26734/eight
A LitRPG story heavily influenced by Gary Paulson's Hatchet. Alas, not getting updated, but enough there to read and enjoy.

A Journey of Black and Red by mecanimnus - https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/26675 ... ck-and-red
Good vampire story.

Sylver Seeker by KingKennit - https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/36065/sylver-seeker
An amoral immortal necromancer just trying to survive in a LitRPG world.

Already following and reading Azarinth Healer, the author Vihyungrang, Primal Hunter and A Journey of Black and Red.

I would further suggest: Defiance of the Fall, Path of the Dragon Mage, Metaworld Chronicles, Tower of Somnus, Skybound

I just started following: Web of Secrets, Runesmith, A Journey in Darkness - will have to see how they do.

No longer follow: He who fights with Monsters - got sick of the authors insecurity with his hero errr... his villain, errr his villainous hero? his heroic villain?

for mostly scifi and some fantasy: https://www.reddit.com/r/HFY/ has alot of stuff, its a mixed bag and the tropes that pop up can get....tiring but there's also alot good there.
The current reigning champion for my money is "First Contact" at 591 chapters, give or take because of some horror chapters that all where numbered the same chapter or just mis-numbering when posted(also on RR but without the conversations in the comments that some people will tell you is a huge part of the experience)

"99.9% of the Universe" one of my favorites, interesting alien designs, a mix between big things happening story wise and slice of life stuff.

"Galactic Daycare" chapters are always a good read.

"Unleashed", "Britney goes to school", both great stories by u/Sooperdude24

"Sexy Space Babes" by bluefishcake. at first i thought he was doing a terrible plagiarism of Subjugation but just had a white dude named Jason who was in engineering school on an alien controlled earth (and oh look every other species is 9 to 1 gender ratio, earth is a paradise for horny blue 7 foot tall blue orcs) but it goes more to NSFW (but so far actually pretty good), like full sex scenes.. its like 50% sex/ 50% plot and has spawned a whole bunch of "fanfiction" that ranges from "John Wick Tundercock leader of the resistance" to actually good stories.

alot of the fanfic can be found at https://www.reddit.com/r/Sexyspacebabes/
I'm enjoying quite a few of them: City Slickers and Hayseeds, The Piano Man, The Cook, Untitled, Going Native, In for a Penny.

The range of takes other then just "human goes john wick on aliens and dicks a few down" is nice. I still would like to see some stories from human women's perspectives. They seem to not exist but to be there because it would be to ridiculous to not have human women.

Also that in the major gender imbalance in-universe everyone's mostly a virgin and not that non-males would enter relationships together and then court a male if they even wanted one. Seems like only porn logic is being used, not how I would think intelligent species would evolve to cope.

then the old litany of nsfw:
asstr.org, nifty.org, literotica.com, storiesonline.net
I would say SOL has the most non to light sex stuff but absolutely read the tags! It does have good to great stories with no sex but those are the little old lady sitting drinking tea in the middle of an orgy at the end of the world, and some people decided to bring their dogs. READ THE TAGS and hopefully the author tagged it right.

author QM has a series "the Cure" that while it has sex its in service to the plot. has 2 sequals with no sex.

I have read his books several times. I even received a CD from him that he produced of his works almost two decades ago. He used to be Net Wolf and Ice Phoenix also. It was nice way back in the stone ages of dial up, he had an IRC server that a few other authors would sign onto. BlackRose, Ace McCloud, I think Ellagon/Sir Winston plus others.
