Fel,

The above comments bring the question if your getting any writing done on chapter 9, back to gaming, or bit of both? Also while you vacated in Florida brings the question of Alantic or Gulf side? Thanks for any answer in advance.

Florida is southeast, so you’re right. It is on the Atlantic, not the Pacific.

Who said anything about the Pacific?(See below post) I said the Gulf (Gulf of Mexico) which cover more of Florida shoreline than does the Atlantic. That's enough of the geography lesson for today, don't believe wiki it.

Oops! Sorry I did original say Pacific and Gulf. Had a brain fart and typed exactly the opposite of what was meant. It has been corrected in both posts. Sorry again for this mistake of mine!

I would be more interested in knowing if Fel had any run-ins with the infamous Florida Man:

I stepped on a dogfish shark...does that count?

(The dogfish was fine. It was a glancing blow.)

So, most likely your vacation was on the Atlantic coast or the Keyes.

Stayed with friends who live about 40 miles from Saint Augustine, in a small town called Crescent City.

The beach we went to was just outside a town called Palm Coast.

Thanks Fel. Me, I've never been to Florida Atlantic side only panhandle gulf side, Atlantic for me has been VA north thru MASS, the Pacific from Oregon south thru Central, and South Americas to Peru (and not counting Asian Countries). Live 20 miles from Gulf Coast, TX. And it was not in the service of our country either, though I would served if needed, but came of age right as Nam was winding down.

Hey, any chance your getting any writing done or has the summer got your full attention(not sure if I wouldn't when I was younger - HA!

Hoped you had a blast in Florida before the sunburn, ouch!

Weep, O ye puny mortals, for I have learned how to make circles in Minecraft!

Guess that answers my above question for Fel; he's gaming for awhile till he decides it time to write awhile.

Still love everything he does for readers, so thanks always Fel.

We're good as long as Fel doesn't get into modded minecraft. If he starts something like Skyblock or Direwolf20 mod pack, we might not get a chapter for months.

I tried skyblock, I hated it.

I'm too old and my reflexes are too slow for PvP mods and unprotected vanilla servers, though I held my own on those servers due to being able to hide my stuff so effectively that even I couldn't find it.

I play Minecraft because I've always enjoyed games where you build things, from SimCity to Civilization to Minecraft. My god, I was addicted to Civ3.

Persians, yo. Industrious and Scientific was the unbeatable trait combo, and the Immortals unit was so ridiculously OP at the stage of the game where you got them. The only thing that could even hope to stand up to them were Greek Hoplites.
