Question about Chapter 1.

Fel,
I know you stated in Chapter 1 of Subjugation that all peoples that existed within forested areas was evacuated. Thus letting those regions go back to nature to maintain the planetary eco system.
What happened to the aboriginal cultures that live in the dense jungles of South America, Africa and other cultures that are very low-tech/primitive? Did the Faey destroy these cultures by uprooting them and forcing them into a Faey mold of a perfect worker? Or did Faey scientists understand the difference and leave them alone as if they were a different species? Seems like this could go either way.
Bored and re-reading stuff again. Unless someone can suggest a nice long Fantasy series I haven't already read.
