I'm safely in Maine, and par for course, it started snowing the instant we reached Portland, it was raining in New Hampshire, traffic was @#$%@#$%#@ in Connecticut, and the people still drive like maniacs in Boston.
Now to get some sleep.

Subjugation chapter 12 is complete.
And just in time, because I'm leaving for Maine tomorrow.
The usual drill.
I hope you enjoy it.

Updating.
I finally decided to do something about the half-written chapter of Subjugation. I'm in the process now of finishing it. Basicly this means that for right now I'm just planning out the remainder of the chapter, because I'm currently in the middle of finals and don't have time to write. But my last f...

Re: Dates for books in Firestaff Series and Pyrosian Chronicles
Nobody ever read the original version. In fact, I'm not even sure where the spirals are now...i think I put them in storage at my uncle's farm.

Re: Dates for books in Firestaff Series and Pyrosian Chronicles
geesh...I really couldn't tell you. Let's see...I wrote the first chapter of Firestaff in, what was it...1985? I'd gotten halfway into Honor and Blood when I was in the military, around 1990, before I shelved the project, then basicly piddled with it until 1999, at the behest of a friend on IRC who ...

Re: Two continuity issues. (Spoilers)
The first question is answered later in Axe of the Dwarven King. Since you asked, I'll go ahead an answer it for you. Yes, the Dwarves are all dead, but the Gnomes also worship that god. Because they do, he's still active on Sennadar. Mala Myrr was one of those LONG foreshadows, one of those things ...

Re: Calendar(s) on Sennadar
Those years are backwards from the current date. Since you know that it's 11 years after the Firestaff event, you can count backwards to see where those year systems begin. Since the Arakite year is 5686 years, that's 5686 years ago. It starts well before the last use of the Firestaff, which was the...

Yah, they're solar based...with 4 moons, building a lunar cycle calendar would be problematic.

This comes directly out of The BINDER. there might be a few minor errors if I changed names of days or months and forgot about it, but this is as direct as it gets...right out of my old game world binder, upon which the books are based. I put in some personal comments enclosed in *** ***...everythin...

Re: Hey Fel, by Turkey day?
pft, I haven't even STARTED chapter 5 yet. I have finals coming up.
But I have put a few pages down in Subjugation. I needed a diversion.
I have days off this week cause of Thanksgiving, I'll get some work done then, but I dunno if it'll be enough to release.
So nyah.

Re: How big is a span?
Yah, you're right, because I wasn't paying attention and put in a wrong number. I'll fix it on the main post with an edit, but just for you:
5000 spans to a longspan, not 1000.
Sorry about that.
The sad thing is, I read that right off my reference file, and still put it in wrong.

Re: My Kingdom for a... (Shaeram Discussion).
Join the triangles so they JUST touch at the corners, make the concave center star just a little smaller (but not much), and it's perfect. The star should still touch at the edges, just make it a little narrower in the body.
The array of the tines leading from the center star are done perfectly.

Dunno. I have like 3000 cousins of various "removeds" so they're all just cousins to me.
