Actually quite a few webcomics , posted a tribute in some form or other.Comes to show how just one person , can influence the entire world, for the good.

where are all the minor characters, like Luke, for example? Shouldn't he have been flying a fighter or something like that.What are the others (like molly or Ian or ex members of the legion), exactly doing in this newly rebuilt house.

I'd say overall he is more Libertarian then Liberal or Conservative. He takes the best of both worlds. It is clear he believes in a strong military, high standards for himself and his people and don't take guff off of anyone.
