There is a little bit of power creep, however Jason was insanely powerful before. Even without this training he could have possibly got out of the meeting crushing hearts and breaking legs but the risk might have been too high for him to attempt it. Nice chapter.

Some lovely emotional support from a surprising direction. Gruesome details on his body improvements. Plenty of made up science stuff. A little clarification on "The Plan". Lots of little hints on possible future directions.

There is a 3rd possibly here though. Jason doesn't die but instead escapes by an alternative method while everyone thinks he's dead. This does all look to be building into a big reveal.
