I'm trying to remember where the dwarven city is in relation to the other features of the desert, were the spires nearby, where there hills, or was it relatively flat? It's been a while since my last read so I can't entirely recall.

My writing laptop is having issues. I replaced the fan in it about 6 months ago and it's run alright, but now the fan's stopped working completely. I've got voltage at the connector, and the fan's motor has connectivity (checking an electric motor with an ohm meter can tell you if it's good or bad)...
