Re: New Users - Say hi.
Just for interest, what other authors have caught your eye -- i like tenhawk over at http://www.tenhawkpresents.com/, and http://www.grandt.com/Journey/stories/ (journeyverse is no longer updated, Alexander and the Shadow Council takes most of his time now).

Re: Next up to log on we are going to need body scans
there are relativly good and secure login mechanisms -- see openid -- which don't need more than 1 sophisticated login location ; i imagine it might even be possible to integrate it into an OS so that people can create their own id without needing a third party google, yahoo, etc... id. banks do tha...

Re: Tribulation(spoilers ) chap 2
If fell was truly nasty, the new insects being bread will have heavy exo-skeletons, and can withstand gravitaitional force  -- there goes the utility of 1/2 of fell's nasty toys, which would force more reliance on the already important telepaths. Another nasty trick: Earlier, it was explained ...

Re: Tribulation(spoilers ) chap 2
the insects are vulnerable to gravity, so i was thinking, whats the best way to create a wide-spread gravity wave? What would happen if you dropped an active stargate into a black hole? -- i would expect that as it fell in, the other side would experience an increasingly strong gravitational pull (i...

“I’m building it now,” he answered. “It’s not going to be unjammable, but I have to start somewhere. It’s been a little tricky trying to get metaphased plasma into a carrier. It’s not going to run on microwaves.” “Incompatible?” he asked, to which Gerann nodded. “I can’t get multispectral phased pl...

the us navy has gone into railguns -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y54aLcC3G74&feature=related the ships already have large electrical generators, so there is the energy available; and it means that you don't have to carry around thousands of tons of fuel and high explosive. the higher velocit...

16 downloads already? -- anyone would think people are hanging out for new chapters of whatever great piece of writing is updated next :) I don't mind interesting events about to happen at the end of a chapter, as long as i don't have to wait 2 years for the next chapter :) (unlike some writers who ...

Also, before you ask, we don't write this fast. Its taken us a year to do 8 chapters. and here i was thinking you were going for "a chapter a day keeps the masses at bay" approach :) anyway, its good to see other people making use of the rich and unique universe(es,ii, plural whatever) wh...
