Re: Possibilities?

I remember Cybi and Jason talking about the large communion array and being able to reach Andromeda. The statement was made that the communication would be real time. Have the Karinnes investigated exactly how communion works? What this statement made me think of is if the communication across time...

Re: How did you learn about Fel/Sennadar?

I heard about Fel's work in 2008. I had moved from Texas to Wisconsin for a new job and my family hadn't moved yet. I was on my own and had a laptop and the internet. Subjugation only had 2-4 chapters so I started with the Firestaf series. Like many I've read hundreds of books and Fel's works are so...

I'm reading the series again also. And was reading that part when you posted.

Fel, I've always wondered if this was a campaign you played. I've admired your ability to explain the way the different forms of magic works. It reminds me of Master of Five Magics in that regard.

2nd Battle of Karis comment

Here is something that has been rolling around in my head for a while: During the Consortium's final defeat at the second battle of Karis the Kimdori were using thier stream weapons which the story said were designed to kill the crew. With the 14,000 Skaa picket ships (death traps) and how well they...

Re: well all things considered

The main problem with the Republican party is the Establishment members, not the Tea Party, that are pro Big Business, but no so much for the small businesses, despite their lip service. I sincerely hope the party moves in the direction of Ron Paul. I'm not so sure about his foreign policy, but I a...

How has no-one mentioned GPF comics?

http://www.gpf-comics.com/

It has plots as twisted and epic as sluggy.

Re: Good Books (Scifi)

Recently I read Ready Player One. by Ernest Cline It's in the 2050s. The internet has been replaced by a graphical online realm called the OASIS. There are many worlds based on about any subject you can think of. The disigner was born in the 70s and grew up in the 80s. In his will he describes that ...

I am also a big fan of Ringo's. His homepage is: http://www.johnringo.net/

It looks like has changed a lot recently. There used be commentary on his opinion on some subjects. They were great to read.

Re: well all things considered

Fel, with all due respect (and your stories have earned you a lot of respect from me!) I thing the racism your attributing to the TEA party is a regional thing. I grew up in Ohio and my grandmother was raised in WV and I heard plenty about how racist and 'hillbilly' people from WV were. Of course th...

Re: Lost & Found

I read a story I thought was by Frederick Pohl, but I can't find it on his bibliography. It was a sci-fi story about time travel. A guy who finds a letter in his attic in a trunk and it is addressed to him and has the current date to open. It has an odd tool in it and a letter from his great grandfa...
