Re: Earth Bond

Fel, you need to take a second look at the beginning of the chapter. The explanation repeats so much my mind starts to filter it out, sort of like trying to read the same sentence multiple times in a row. I understand that repeating something might be good to ensure it's being taken in, but going ov...

Re: Earth Bond, chapter 5.

Damnit Fel, you're early. (Or late) You usually post just as I'm about to go to sleep, not when i have 12 minutes left before i have to leave.

At least I'll have something to look forward to after i get home...

Re: Earth Bond

Actually, one thing i feel missing from this story is more international action. Right now it's sort of acting as if only the USA exist outside Draconia. If the agents jobs were to monitor all governments on earth, then they must have traveled all over it, at the very least the countries that have a...

Re: Earth Bond

It's mostly the fact that they are very similar explanations. It would probably not have been as noticeable if there had been time between the chapters, but reading them back to back made it very hard to ignore. Each dragon has specific talents that they use within their society. Earth dragons are b...

Earth Bond

Not much to say yet, as I'm still working my way through these, and i don't have all that much time in my days. However, i noticed this error in the beginning of Chapter 1, so I'm posting it here for now. That done, he went back and covered his tracks by wiping out every trace that he’d been there, ...

Re: Shadow Walker 22 Thoughts and Spoilers

Now the discussion it taking an interesting turn. Just how much of the Ancient Civilization's scientific observations were real world effects and how much was just belief-reinforced theory on how the world works? Name three discoveries that were accepted right away without someone having to convince...

Re: Shadow Walker 22 Thoughts and Spoilers

I was wondering why no one got this earlier in the thread, I thought exactly the same thing as soon as I read the chapter. People might be a bit too materialistic for that. Actually, this chapter and it's revelations also have some pretty significant implications about both the Ancient Civilization...

Re: Shadow Walker 22 Thoughts and Spoilers

I think you people are focusing on the device in the wrong way. Remember, it does not matter what it does , all that matter is the belief . It could quite literary do nothing, and still free the arcans, just because the alchemist that creates it believes that is what it does, and the belief of other...

Re: Shadow Walker 22 Thoughts and Spoilers

Illusion is indeed a reality-shaping power... Where are the limits? Are there any beyond imagination and belief?

Well, damn. Spec, you had better hang around in the future too, you hear! This place wouldn't be the same without you.

At the same time, good luck with whatever you'll spend the time on instead.

What's your favorite RSS reader?

A lot of people are using RSS these days, and it feels like a few more start all the time, so this should be somewhat relevant and possible even interesting. What is your favorite RSS reader, and why? Personally, i'd go with the RSS reader in Thunderbird 3. It served my needs well, felt quick and re...
