Re: Tribulation (spoilers) chapter 6
Really I see an inevitable revolution or change in the Faey or Jason leaving as inevitable. They Faey as a species are not nice as a collective. Individuals are nice, and there are some great people but the system itself is probably going to have to change eventually. Jason would probably have the s...

Re: So who is the strongest?
But that's not 'usable' power anymore, its going all out pulling in outside magical abilities into equation (Tarrin's ability as a being of Entrophy). More to the point Spyder laughs at the ability and uses her mastery of space to step to the side or something. usable power has to to a degree take i...

Re: Tribulation(spoilers ) chap 2
I'm fairly sure it won't. As mentioned a lot of races apart from finding the Faey creepy with their entire population being telepathic also still dislike the Faey for killing the precursor to Jaon's house. The fact that they are back still doesn't change the matter that they were gone for a thousand...

Re: Tribulation(spoilers ) chap 2
Don't think that would work. The interfaces for non Generations could 'receive but not send' as no telepath could understand what the machine was sending back both because of lack of comprehension and speed. Without a way to 'send' they don't do anything, without a way to receive ..

Re: Tribulation(spoilers ) chap 2
In all honesty I agree that it would be impossible to turn a non telepath into a telepath even with gene therapy. Now making a Non telepath create telepathic children I could buy much easier but then your getting into morally gray area's and the fact that earth isn't ready to train telepathic childr...

Re: Tribulation(spoilers ) chap 2
Actually that's not ENTIRELY true. Remember when he first landed on the home-planet of his ancestors and was learning about what the Generations were he learned HOW the Generations came about. A genetically created Fey whose powers were made stronger that way and could actually listen and send to Te...

Re: Icon for Godly tarrin
I don't think it works that way. An "Icon' is a representative of the god in questions preense in the plane. While a God exists in a near infinite dimensions they need a metaphor for their power to well exist in a way, at least according to when Tarrin was turned into a Firestaff god. If the El...

Re: So who is the strongest?
I would probably say Spyder has the most raw power, followed by Tarrin and then his daughter. However I would point out that while there might be a significant amount of power differing those three, compared to their full power going all out its probably not all that much so skill plays a huge part ...

Re: Shadow Walker- chapter 14
The problem we are having is the definition of 'power'. Is power really the amount of energy he can gather or how hard he can throw a punch? Or is power measured in how effective in combat or other fields? That's the real issue here. Kyven can not hold as much energy as a 'average' Arken shaman, nor...

Re: Shadow Walker- chapter 14
While it is true that a lot of his power requires enemies i think your still underestimating the sheer combat effectivness his skill with illusions, and his ability to almost make illusions supersede reality gives him. Powerful does not mean he salts the earth and destroys forests at a whim but at t...

Re: Shadow Walker- chapter 14
Er your missing my point GBLW, 'powerful' is not the same as 'strong'. Kyven is powerful because he has a huge level of effective combat ability. His relative level of energy he can retain and stamina he can have compared to a Arcren limits him somewhat but his ability to be mind boggling precise an...

Re: Shadow Walker- chapter 14
To be more precise I would say that Kyven has a smaller capacity to hold energy than the Arcans, however that is balanced with a incredible talent for Illusions, probably even before the Shadow Fox's involvement. In pure straight up 'power vs power' combat he is definitely weaker, however I would pr...

Re: Shadow Walker- chapter 14
Mind you the 'illusion superseding reality' even if it takes a lot of power is an incredibly frighting power. I haven't re-read the stories in quite a while however IIRC the Shadow Fox mentioned that he had barely touched the surface of the ability. I wonder if at some point we might learn the truly...

Re: Short Story/Sennadar Universe
Or you use the device of Tarrin's will power allowing him to sort of bend reality and have the impossible happen. For a single hour Tarrin and the GoG switch places. Thats right for a single hour Tarrin is the central pillar of creation while the GoG finds himself 'mearly' a powerful mage/sorcerer/w...
