Re: Happy birthday Fel
All the best birthdays take several days to celebrate. So this is clearly an exceptional birthday. Happy birthday, Fel!

Re: Complete books?
You're right, the Worlds of Fel link returns a 404 error, and if I try just weavespinner.net it gives a 403. So the domain is active, but the page is down. No idea how long this has been the case I haven't tried visiting the site in quite some time.
Bummer.
Bummer.

Re: Yeah, time for an update.
Thanks Fel! I don't know as I've ever seen this covered... But what do you for a living that gives that kind of insane OT?? I remember hours like that, around this time of the year, but I was doing Income Tax preparation, which is a lot of work crammed into several months; taking all the hours you ...

Re: ERB
Hmm. The latest issue of MaximumPC mentions Epic Rap Battles of History. This is a geeky/nerd thing, apparently, not mainstream rap. So, probably an explanation of what it was all about would have been good on the part of the OP, to get it past our "Rap is crap" filter. Because it apparent...

I'm dating myself, I saw ERB and thought "Edgar Rice Burroughs", which author I have read much of over the years.

Yay! Of course, I checked earlier today, before you uploaded the new chapter; I gets up too dang early. Now I have something new to read, that's still a known quantity; Fel only publishes the good stuff.

Re: Lost & Found
Not quite. Artie removed his HTML pages (except the landing page), but all the stories are still there in Epub, PDF or text formats. Including The Golden Mule and The Golden Mule Returns . EDIT: his landing page is at asstr.org/~artie . Your right, I missed that, sorry about that. I also know it ca...

Re: Lost & Found
I read a story I thought was by Frederick Pohl, but I can't find it on his bibliography. It was a sci-fi story about time travel. A guy who finds a letter in his attic in a trunk and it is addressed to him and has the current date to open. It has an odd tool in it and a letter from his great grandf...

What's your backup strategy? Additional HD onboard, external HD, cloud, what? Seriously don't want to hear about losing all your story files due to HD failure. Something to look into, yes? You are archiving your finished stories to CD or some such, yes?
