I second the recommendation of Spearfish Lake Tales by Wes Boyd, I like them enough that even though you can read them for free, I've purchased them. Really good stuff.

Analog July/August, September, and October 2008 issues for the sequel, which was news to me; my family ceased subscribing to the SF magazines in the late 1990s, as Dad wasn't keeping up with them....

Well, it's not /that/ kind of mature board. Just well-aged and some silliness. Not very active, it can go half a year between posts, since the initial rush when it opened. But do post, it gives us something to read between stories.
