Re: Boom.

I'm very strongly against the idea of setting up Paypal/accepting donations.

The site says it all; it's free.

The very idea of taking money so people can read my work seems wrong to me.

Of course, that's the idealist speaking. If I get really desperate, I might reconsider.

Boom.

That's something approaching the sound my car made on Friday. :( So...there's going to be yet another delay, because now my car is in the shop and I'm scrambling to find ways to and from work, which really tops out my stress level given all the other insanity going on right now. I haven't heard back...

No, I haven't forgotten...

but, I'm now working 50 hour weeks starting last week. I've been pretty much well wiped out when I get home, because I've gone from sitting behind a desk for a living to physical labor, and I've had to adjust. Once I get accustomed to physical demands of the new job, I'll be finishing up chapter 6 o...

Re: Lochar's other hangout

Lochar, I dub thee Henrathresbentorakargitozmariquivimyxieles.

And they shall call you Henry.

And they will laugh behind their hands as you walk by.

And you shall hit them in the back of the head with a brick.

So it is written, so it shall be.

Re: What Role did the Kimdori play in the Third Civil War

By custom and law, the Kimdori don't actively take sides in the wars of other civilizations. They've been known to work on both sides of a conflict. This'd probably be a massive spoiler, but as you know...if you ask the question, clearly you're ready for the answer. Specifically because these questi...

Re: Sub Chapter 14 - Spoilers

Nobody "tampered" with any of the humans, or the Faey, or anything like that. ;) The lineage of Jason and the other human telepaths is quite natural. The humans are natural, the Faey are natural. And before you ask, the Kimdori are natural as well. Their capabilities are the products of ev...

Re: Bud(d)y love

Ah, this question. Well, to put it simply, it's cultural. Faey culture doesn't assign as much importance on who the father is as it does about the pregnancy in the first place. The father is the one who helps raise the baby, not who sires it. Men don't really worry too much about who sired a baby, b...

Re: Sub Chapter 14 - Spoilers

There wasn't just a handful of Faey that arrived when Jason's ancestors came to Earth. There were over 200 of them. Tim and Temika share a common ancestor, they descend from a single Faey. Jason's ancestor is from a different family, whose genetic sequence is a little different from most other Faey....

Subjugation, chapter 14

See, I was writing.

I've also written about half of the next chapter of Demon's Bane, that should be released sometime soon.

Re: update -o- rama.

I really don't know. After doing all those tests, they told me they had to check references and they'd call me back. 2 weeks ago. I called them back myself on Monday, and they told me "don't call us, we'll call you." So...I'm basicly assuming at this point that they're not going to call ba...

update -o- rama.

I'm still alive, first off. I've been taking like 3 zillion tests to try to go to work for Toyota. Finances have officially entered the red zone up here, as in I don't know if I can keep my internet going next month. I have been writing, however, when not busy taking tests, going on intervies, and d...

Re: Random Question

I used custom.

The ultimate unstoppable combination was Subterranean Creative Unification. The only drawback was trying to feed them all before you go Terraforming.

This combination was nigh undefeatable.

Re: Random Question

I played that game too. ;) Originally, the Faey were going to look like regular elves (which fits into human mythology), with the rest of the Faey base intact. If you look back through Irish/Scottish folklore and myth about the Faerie (their word for elves), you'll find virtually no references to ma...

Re: Random Question

Everyone involved in the arts is still doing what they were doing. So actors, producers, musicians, and their industries remain. It's all part of the "overall morale initiative" of the planet, something the Imperium actively cultivates. After all, distracted or amused citizens are not rebe...
