Re: updatish things

Positive 1st April joke:

Fel announces that Baen Publishing has proposed to publish his finished Firestaff Series, with Fel retaining online/electronic publication laws, and that in a month we would be able to buy a paper version of Firestaff Series books.

I wish... :sight:

Re: Bored

Try the stickies for links to good reading or the good sf books. The links to good reading thread is soooooooo long that it practically intimidates one to even begin reading it. The good sf books as following on its heels in this direction. I have actually been considering making a wiki page with a...

Re: Interesting spells and spell ideas

Well, "Chaos Nuke" is even more (gasp!) than that. In Amber's world the equivalent of planes in D'n'D (or alternative worlds) are shadows . The ultimate weapon of Chaosites can destroy whole shadow (some of them are pocket universes though), returning it to the primal chaos they all came f...

Re: Interesting spells and spell ideas

Some spells from the wonderfull Roger Zelazny series "Amber", the second 5 books (chronicles of Merlin). There are translated back into English from a Polish (my native language) translation, so they might differ from official version. Attack spells : nice spell of heart attack (doesn't wo...

Re: Lost & Found

Hmm, I think you're looking for one of the side stories of the Undocumented features. Do you remember reading about Leon riding around in KITT, and something about GAZ? (God, Angel Zoner) Perhaps. KITT-like vehicle (but not black transam if I remember correctly), i.e. with many extras... Well, now ...

IIRC the talent for Sorcery is best assessed just after the birth; I seem to remember than later it "goes into hiding".

Re: Questions about Sennadar

Higher surface gravity of a planet means lower safe height (safe = skull would not crack at fall) for verti-bipeds, which usually means lower height. But people on Sennadar and on Pyrosia are of the same height; otherwise I think somebody would notice.

Just my 3 eurocents.

This thread is meant to share interesting spells and magick (not only from Firestaff series, but also for example from less known books) and spell ideas (not only for Firestaff universe, but for example also for Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Charmed Ones universes). If this thread will...

Being in the wiki group only affects logging, and not posting. If you are logged in (cookies not expired) you can modify the pages. I did that on the other computer.

That's my guess.

BTW. you have the same password (as it is the same userbase) on both forum and wiki.
